Fridge buyers get 6 years younger in a decade

The average age of a refrigerator consumer is estimated to be 34-35 years, according to industry sources. This was 38-40 years about eight years ago in 2013-14. What’s also gone up are repeat purchases of refrigerators, which is the second-most penetrated household appliance after the television.
